I only mildly liked the first one, and in my opinion, this one was worse. I know some people rave about this series, so it's probably just me. If you are a huge fan of dystopians, then this might be your thing but I'm just finding more and more that these types of books only make me want to yell at the characters and wish I could get the images from my mind. There's a ton of violence, which I could try to overlook if there were any characters worth rooting for. I felt like all the characters were acting stupidly, impulsively and were way too emotional. I also hate love stories where the characters don't trust one another and do things behind each other's backs. So, yeah, I don't think I'll be picking up the next one. On a positive note, I can say that the writing style definitely propells the story forward and you feel as if you are there in the thick of things.
